Request General Membership to Vote in ARIN Elections
Voting in ARIN Elections is open to the Voting Contacts of General Members in Good Standing in place 45 days before the elections. If you want to vote this fall, please be sure to update your organization’s Voting Contact information by Thursday, 15 October. If your organization is currently a Service Member but would like to participate in the ARIN Elections taking place 22-30 October 2026, please log in to your ARIN Online account and submit your request to be a General Member before the deadline to establish voter eligibility on Monday, 7 September.

Experiment Without Risk in ARIN’s OT&E Environment
Did you know ARIN has a testing environment? Our Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) environment is a valuable and easy-to-access tool that offers full feature parity with production but is completely isolated from live systems. This means you can log in to ARIN Online at www.ote.arin.net with your regular credentials and experiment with creating and modifying Org records, managing Points of Contact, submitting network requests, tracking tickets, testing reassignments and reallocations, managing IRR route objects, using RPKI, and more — all without any risk of disruption to resources and services. The full Reg-RWS API and IRR RESTful API are also available in OT&E, with the same payloads and methods as production.
Learn more about who OT&E is for, how to access it, and important notes on how the testing environment works in this blog post: ARIN Has a Testing Environment — and Most People Don’t Know About It.
Read the 2025 ARIN Annual Report
Last year ARIN made significant improvements and advancements across the organization — modernizing infrastructure, enhancing security across our services, improving RPKI and IRR, introducing new training initiatives, and more — to advance technical excellence, promote governance and community engagement, and expand education and outreach.
Take a look at the 2025 Annual Report to learn more about them. The report shares information about the activities of the ARIN staff, Board of Trustees, and Advisory Council, as well as ARIN’s activities within the global Internet community. You’ll find updates from our President and CEO and the Chair of ARIN’s Board of Trustees, a summary of 2025 accomplishments, departmental highlights, and much more. Thank you to everyone who supported us in reaching our organizational objectives during 2025!
The 2025 ARIN Annual Report is available for download at: https://www.arin.net/about/corporate/annual/reports/2025_annualreport.pdf.
View the ARIN 57 Meeting Report
The ARIN 57 Public Policy and Members Meeting Report, including presentations, links to daily recaps on our blog, transcripts, and webcast archives, is available on our website. Thank you to everyone who participated in person or virtually at ARIN 57 and made it a success!

Get Ready for ARIN 58
Speaking of ARIN meetings, please plan to join us for ARIN 58 — taking place directly after NANOG 98 on 22-23 October in Miami, Florida, and online — so you can continue participating in this critical part of ARIN’s Policy Development Process. Registration will open in mid-August; stay tuned to the ARIN Announce mailing list and our social media channels for details.
Enhance Your Involvement with an ARIN 58 Sponsorship
Sponsoring an ARIN meeting is a great way for your organization to:
- Showcase your leadership in the Internet ecosystem.
- Amplify your brand to an influential and engaged audience.
- Support the transparent, community-driven policy development processes that support the foundation of Internet infrastructure.
If you’re interested in sponsoring ARIN 58, visit our Sponsorship page for details on the costs and sponsor benefits. We offer a range of sponsorship packages designed to provide high-value exposure, recognition, and direct engagement with the ARIN community and to meet your organization’s objectives and budget.
Apply for the ARIN 58 Fellowship Program
Are you interested in meeting other members of the ARIN community, getting an in-depth introduction to the ARIN organization and Policy Development Process, and preparing to actively participate in the ARIN 58 Public Policy and Members Meeting — all with the mentorship of an experienced ARIN community member?
Consider applying for the next ARIN Fellowship Program! This fall’s program includes virtual sessions before and after ARIN 58 in Miami, Florida, and Fellows will attend the full meeting either virtually or in person (at the discretion of the Fellowship Selection Committee).
The call for applications will open Monday, 6 July, and run through Sunday, 19 July. In the meantime, check out the blog for stories from past programs and participants to get a feel for what being an ARIN Fellow is all about.

Plan for the 2027 Fee Increase
At its meeting on 19 April 2026, and in conformance with the new Registration Services Plan (RSP) Fee Schedule, the Board of Trustees approved a 5 percent increase to RSP fees for 2027. The new fee schedule is available at: 2027 Fee Schedule.
This change was approved to support ARIN’s long-term financial strategy, which aims to align operating costs with revenues while maintaining tight cost control targets for the organization through 2030.
If you have questions, please contact fee-inquiries@arin.net or submit via Ask ARIN while logged in to your ARIN Online account.
Use Passkeys for ARIN Online MFA
As part of the 26 May 2026 release, the multifactor authentication (MFA) options available in ARIN Online have been expanded to include industry-standard passkeys.
A passkey is a FIDO authentication credential (either a physical security key or software option) based on FIDO standards that allows a user to sign in to apps and websites with the same process that they use to unlock their device (biometrics, PIN, or pattern).
Updated documentation, including a list of options that have been tested by ARIN and instructions for enabling MFA through a passkey, can be found here. Note that only one key can be registered to an individual ARIN Online account.
Find ARIN at Upcoming Industry Meetings and Community Events
In addition to our biannual Public Policy and Members Meetings, we host and attend many other community events where you can join us to hear updates and presentations, ask us questions, get help with your ARIN account and resources, and more. Here’s where you can find us in the next few months:

Tips From Our Registration Services Department
Did you know ARIN introduced a more secure way of linking user accounts to Points of Contact (POCs)? This new linking process:
- Removes reliance on email-based authentication.
- Enables the Admin to accept or decline a user’s request to link to a POC.
- Improves an organization’s ability to authenticate users on the Org ID.
- Supports faster processing, reduces errors, and improves customer compliance and security measures.
For more information, read our blog post about this update: Introducing a More Secure, Streamlined Workflow for Point of Contact Linking.
If the Point of Contact you’re trying to link to is no longer with the organization, you may need to request an Organization Recovery. For more information on the Organization Recovery process, read this blog post: Do You Really Need an Org Recovery?
Reminder: Email-based Point of Contact recovery has been retired as of the 26 May 2026 release. Customers requiring assistance with Point of Contact access or recovery should contact ARIN Registration Services through an Ask ARIN ticket for support.
