Voting Contacts

ARIN Elections are held online each October. To be eligible to vote in ARIN Elections, each ARIN General Member organization must be in good standing 45 days before the ballot or election and must have a designated Voting Contact on record. Organizations can verify their Voting Contact by logging in to their ARIN Online account or by emailing members@arin.net.

Important! Organizations may update their Voting Contact after the Voting Eligibility deadline but all changes must be finalized at least seven days before the voting period begins. Please refer to the Election Calendar for the exact date and time.

About Voting Contacts

  • Must have a valid ARIN Online account
  • Must be designated and up-to-date by the voter eligibility deadline
  • Can be designated/modified by either an Admin Point of Contact or Tech Point of Contact of an organization. However, ARIN will recognize an Admin Point of Contact as the final authority when needed.
  • Are not identified in Whois/RDAP
  • An organization’s Voting Contact will be the only authorized individual allowed to vote on behalf of a General Member.
