The Internet Infrastructure Sustaining Grant Program (IISGP) provides multi-year funding for initiatives that strengthen the critical infrastructure of the Internet, with emphasis on projects that complement or enhance the performance, functionality, security, or usability of ARIN’s customer-facing services.

This program reinforces ARIN’s commitment to the long-term stability and resilience of the Internet ecosystem. It complements our annual Community Grant Program by supporting larger, long-term initiatives fundamental to ARIN’s mission.

The IISGP does not operate with an open grant application process. Instead, it operates as a targeted strategic execution tool to help fund work that supports ARIN’s Strategic Plan.

The current strategic focus areas include:

  • Advancing RPKI adoption as a global standard by harmonizing practices and coordinating with other RIRs.
  • Driving global IPv6 deployment through partnerships with providers and other Internet ecosystem partners.
