ARIN
As part of the 2022 Fee Schedule, ARIN established a five-year IPv6 Fee Waiver that allowed organizations in the 3X-Small service category to receive up to a /36 of total IPv6 space without moving up to the larger 2X-Small billing category. The waiver was intended as a time-bound incentive to support IPv6 adoption among smaller organizations and is scheduled to expire on 31 December 2026.
Beginning 1 January 2027, organizations will be billed according to the applicable Registration Services Plan service category based on their aggregate Internet number resource holdings. For organizations currently benefiting from the IPv6 Fee Waiver, this may result in a move from the 3X-Small billing category to the 2X-Small billing category.
ARIN will contact impacted customers who are currently billed under this fee waiver to ensure they are aware of the upcoming change, understand the potential impact to their fees beginning in 2027, and know how to contact ARIN to review any available options.
If you have questions, please contact fee-inquiries@arin.net or submit via Ask ARIN while logged in to your ARIN Online account.
Thank you for your ongoing support of ARIN!
Regards,
ARIN
