But also contains the outcome of each suggestion. Ideally a single email would also contain the final responses (first) followed by a section containing the suggestions still pending.

This would allow those of us that are actively participating and interested in multiple suggestions to quickly peruse a single email and be up-to-date rather than having to click on a series of links and jump back and forth between email and browser repeatedly.

Having the headings first in the message with the results in digest form below could offer the best of both worlds. The results at the bottom would not pose significant additional message size and having the existing headings and quick links at the top would prevent this addition from being disruptive to those that prefer the existing format.

Thank you for your suggestion requesting a change in the content and format of updates we send to the ARIN-Suggestions mailing list. This new mailing list was created out of an earlier suggestion, with the desire for us to notify the community every time a new suggestion came into ARIN and then to keep the community informed as responses were generated or action taken.

The one email you reference was unique as we decided to go back and provide an update to suggestions that have been pending for a while. Our intention is to continue to notify the ARIN-Suggestions list each time there is a new suggestion. We will work on the content of those messages in order to provide enough information so that the reader need not click on a link to the Suggestion archive unless they want to. We currently have 27 subscribers to the list and we will continue to improve the communications in order to satisfy the general readership’s requirements.

We thank you for participating in the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process. This suggestion is now closed.
