ARIN is heading to Arlington, Texas, for ARIN 56. Our fall Public Policy and Members Meeting takes place 30-31 October 2025 at the Loews Arlington Hotel and virtually via the Zoom webinar platform. What to Expect at ARIN 56
ARIN 56 Meeting Orientation
Whether you’ll be with us in Texas or joining us from home, don’t miss our virtual Meeting Orientation on Tuesday, 21 October, at 2:00 PM ET to find out how to make the most of your ARIN 56 experience. RSVP to attend the Meeting Orientation during the registration process; if you’ve already registered for ARIN 56 and wish to attend the orientation, simply visit https://arin.swoogo.com/arin56/sign-in to modify your registration to reserve your spot.
Policy Discussions
The public policy portion of ARIN 56 features discussions of two Recommended Draft Policies and five Draft Policies on Thursday, 30 October. The agenda includes:
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2024-5: Rewrite of NRPM Section 4.4 Micro-Allocation
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2025-2: Clarify 8.5.1 Registration Services Agreement
- Draft Policy ARIN-2025-1: Clarify ISP and LIR Definitions and References to Address Ambiguity in NRPM Text
- Draft Policy ARIN-2025-3: Change Section 9 Out Of Region Use Minimum Criteria
- Draft Policy ARIN-2025-6: Fix Formula in 6.5.2.1c
- Draft Policy ARIN-2025-7: Make Policy in 6.5.8.2 Match the Examples
- Draft Policy ARIN-2025-8: Reserve 4.10 Space for In-Region Use

How to Attend the Meeting
Each morning during the meeting, attendees will receive an email with information about that day’s session. If you’re a virtual attendee, that email will contain a link to access the Zoom meeting.
The Zoom session will open 15 minutes before the meeting starts each day; feel free to join early to say hello to and chat with your fellow attendees. If you’re on location in Arlington, just take a seat before the agenda begins at 9:00 AM CT.
