The International Telecommunication Union, through its Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT), organizes a World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) every four years in the period between two Plenipotentiary Conferences to consider topics, projects and programmes relevant to telecommunication development." WTDC is scheduled to take place 6 to 16 June 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda.
