This session will begin with a real-world incident that underscores the importance of RPKI and Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs), illustrating how a simple ROA could have prevented the issue. Building on this example, we will transition into a practical, step-by-step guide for planning, creating, and maintaining ROAs within ARIN’s Hosted RPKI environment. The session will also address considerations for organizations that utilize DDoS scrubbing services, migrate IP addresses to the cloud, or distribute IP space to downstream users.
