Description: Recommend implementing a secure method of transmitting confidential data to the resource analysts. While attempting to submit confidential data to an analyst today in support of a transfer, I was informed they cannot decrypt a PGP encrypted document nor PGP encrypted email. The offered alternatives were to send my confidential data clear-text or via FAX. If it is not feasible to accept PGP encrypted documentation, other secure drop-box type technology should implemented.

Following the impending release of new ARIN Online functionality, users will be able to leverage the built-in encryption capabilities of the web to upload confidential information to ARIN. After that date ARIN will allow for HTTPS transport for any sensitive files to ARIN. Currently, you can submit confidential information via email using PGP. ARIN’s public key is available at:
