Nominations are now being accepted for candidates from the ARIN Region to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) that will be vacant when Jason Schiller’s term expires on 31 December 2016.

Nominees for the NRO NC must reside within the ARIN Region and be willing and available to serve a three-year term beginning 1 January 2017. Incumbents may be nominated for consecutive terms.

All nominees must confirm that they qualify to serve and do not violate the Nomination and Appointment Conflict of Interest List at:
https://www.arin.net/participate/elections/conflicts.html

Any individual, regardless of ARIN Member affiliation, may self-nominate or nominate one or more candidates for any open NRO NC position. All nominations must be received by 5:00 PM ET on Wednesday, 31 August 2016. A final slate of NRO NC candidates will be announced on Monday, 10 October 2016 and elections will open to North American Network Operators’ Group (NANOG) and ARIN meeting attendees on Monday, October 17 at 9:00 AM ET. Elections open to all eligible ARIN Member organizations’ Voting Contacts on Thursday, 20 October 2016.
