Lights, camera, action! Registration is now open for the ARIN 50 Public Policy and Members Meeting, a hybrid event that will take place 20 – 21 October 2022 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, California as well as virtually via Zoom.

Register Now!

We are excited to provide opportunities for both virtual and in-person participation and hope you can join us. The ARIN 50 agenda includes discussion for multiple draft policies, ARIN Election candidate speeches, reports from our Board and Advisory Council, and a variety of updates from ARIN leadership.

Planning to attend in-person?

ARIN 50 will be held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California. For the full agenda, hotel details, travel information, Health & Safety protocols and more, visit https://arin.net/ARIN50. Space is limited, so reserve your room early at the Loews Hollywood Hotel for our ARIN 50 attendee discount.

For our in-person attendees who may also be attending NANOG 86, ARIN is hosting a Happy Hour on Wednesday, 19 October at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. If you’re interested in attending, please be sure to sign up when you register for ARIN 50. More information will be provided as we get closer to the event.

Safety is our priority. Please be sure to monitor any changes in travel protocols between your home and the meeting location. We continue to follow official guidance from national and local governments regarding COVID-19 response measures. ARIN will follow the local COVID protocols that are in place at the time of the meeting, and we also have published our Health & Safety meeting protocols on the ARIN 50 website, https://arin.net/ARIN50

ARIN will be providing all attendees with a safety kit that will include a COVID-19 antigen test kit containing two tests. We ask that everyone please take the first test prior to attending the first ARIN session on Thursday, and that you complete your second test the following morning. If you test positive for COVID-19 on site, please do not attend the meeting and contact meetings@arin.net for assistance.

Planning to attend virtually?

A link to access the virtual meeting will be emailed to all registered attendees before each day. Registration is free, and all remote registrants will be listed as participants on the meeting website and in the archive of the meeting on the ARIN website. In order to submit comments or questions and participate in polls on policy proposals, you must register for the meeting. The ARIN 50 chat in the Zoom webinar will be monitored to ensure that all of our attendees adhere to the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of Behavior.

ARIN 50 Fellowship Program

Held virtually between 27 September – 25 October, the ARIN 50 Fellowship Program provides the framework for Fellows to dig deeper into discussions related to ARIN’s Policy Development Process and learn about ARIN’s work and services. Fellows will be paired with an ARIN community member mentor to guide them through the program.

The application period for the ARIN 50 Virtual Fellowship Program is open until 17 August 2022, and you can apply at https://arin.smapply.net/prog/virtual_fellowship_program_arin_50/ .

If you have questions or need more information, please email fellowships@arin.net.

Meeting Orientation

The ARIN Advisory Council has been busy this summer! With over 10 policies on the docket, be sure to join us at our virtual Meeting Orientation on 11 October 2022 to learn more about the policies up for discussion, our new improved voting experience for all attendees, and how to make the most of ARIN 50. During the ARIN 50 registration process, be sure to choose the Meeting Orientation option to reserve your spot.

If you have any questions, please email us at meetings@arin.net.
