Registration is now open for the ARIN 49 Public Policy and Members Meeting, a hybrid event that will take place 24 – 27 April 2022 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN as well as virtually via Zoom.

We are excited to provide opportunities for both virtual and in-person participation and hope you can join us. Our ARIN 49 agenda includes discussion for multiple draft policies, a can’t-miss panel on IPv6, reports from our Board and Advisory Council, and a variety of updates from ARIN staff on topics including the latest on Internet Governance, Routing Security, IPv4 Transfers, and departmental reports.

Planning to attend in-person?

Safety is our priority. Please be sure to monitor any changes in travel protocols between your home and the meeting location. We continue to follow official guidance from national and local governments regarding COVID-19 response measures. ARIN will follow the local COVID protocols that are in place at the time of the meeting, and we also have published our Health & Safety meeting protocols on the ARIN 49 website, https://arin.net/ARIN49

ARIN will be providing all attendees with a safety kit that will include a COVID-19 antigen test kit containing two tests. We ask that everyone please take the first test prior to attending the first ARIN session on Sunday or Monday, and that you complete your second test the following morning. If you test positive for COVID-19 on site, please do not attend the meeting and contact meetings@arin.net for assistance.

ARIN asks that all attendees adhere to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended safety measures for preventing COVID-19 which include: wearing a mask when indoors, engaging in social distancing, and not attending if you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. We also encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated in accordance with CDC COVID guidelines. ARIN staff and volunteers traveling at ARIN’s expense are required to adhere to more stringent safety requirements to travel on ARIN’s behalf. Send any questions to info@arin.net.

ARIN 49 will be held at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in downtown Nashville, TN. For the full agenda, hotel details, travel information, Health & Safety protocols and more, visit https://arin.net/ARIN49. Space is limited, but be sure to reserve your room early at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel for our ARIN 49 attendee discount.

For our in-person attendees, we will have a ROA-thon on Sunday, 24 April followed by Happy Hour. All events will be held at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. If you’re interested in attending any of these, please be sure to sign up when you register for ARIN 49. More information will be provided as we get closer to the event.

Planning to attend virtually?

A link to access the virtual meeting will be emailed to all registered attendees before each day. Registration is free, and all remote registrants will be listed as participants on the meeting website and in the archive of the meeting on the ARIN website. In order to submit comments or questions and participate in polls on policy proposals, you must register for the meeting. The ARIN 49 chat in the Zoom webinar will be monitored to ensure that all of our attendees adhere to the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of Behavior.

We have some special events planned for our virtual attendees as well, including a virtual Happy Hour on 26 April. Be on the lookout for more details on this and other events as we get closer to the meeting!
