We are pleased to present the latest ARIN informational video: “The Importance of Validating Your POC Information.” In accordance with NRPM Section 3.6: Annual Whois POC Validation Policy (https://www.arin.net/policy/nrpm.html#three6), an email will be sent to every Point of Contact (POC) in the Whois database on an annual basis, asking you to validate that your POC information is still correct. Aside from the fact that confirming your POC information improves the quality of the data in Whois, this process also helps to protect you from the potential hijacking of your resources.
