Registration is now open for the ARIN XXVIII Public Policy and Members Meeting, 12-14 October 2011 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The meeting will be held back-to-back with NANOG 53 that runs 9-12 October. For information about ARIN XXVIII, visit:

A special room rate for meeting attendees of $229 (USD) single/double occupancy is available until 23 September. The room rate is subject to all applicable taxes, fees and other charges as they may apply. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your room early for the attendee discount. ARIN holds open, biannual Public Policy and Members Meetings where attendees gather to discuss draft Internet number resource policies, network with colleagues, and attend workshops and tutorials. Current policy proposals up for discussion at this meeting are available at:

ARIN will offer a webcast, live transcript, and Jabber chat options for remote participants. Registered remote participants can submit comments and questions to the discussions during the meeting.

ARIN XXVIII Overview

  • Tuesday, 11 October: An orientation luncheon for first-time ARIN meeting attendees, an ARIN Online Users Forum, and an Evening Meet & Greet.
  • Wednesday, 12 October: Morning program with NANOG, ARIN Public Policy Meeting, Day One (begins at 1:00PM); evening social at [The Franklin Institute](http://www2.fi.edu/) .
  • Thursday, 13 October: ARIN Public Policy Meeting, Day Two
  • Friday, 14 October: ARIN Members Meeting (open to all ARIN XXVIII attendees)
