The ninth annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) began today in Istanbul and will run through 5 September. ARIN representatives are participating alongside those from other Regional Internet Registries (RIRs). ARIN encourages all members of the global Internet community to participate in this important dialogue on Internet governance, where all stakeholders meet on an equal footing.
Of particular interest at this year’s IGF will be the session “IANA Functions: NTIA’s Stewardship Transition and ICANN’s Accountability Process,” which is currently scheduled for 5 September from 9:30 - 11:00 AM (UTC+3), but may be subject to change.
