ARIN is pleased to announce a technology demonstration of a RESTful Web Service for WHOIS, Whois-RWS. The purpose of this demonstration is to solicit community feedback regarding the technical aspects of RESTful web technology as applied to ARIN’s public WHOIS information service. Included in this demonstration is a NICNAME/WHOIS port 43 proxy service for classical WHOIS clients.
