1. Welcome
The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. EST. The presence of quorum was noted.
2. Agenda Bashing
The Chair called for any comments. There were no comments.
3. Ratification of Electronic Elections
Voting for the ARIN Board of Trustees and ARIN Advisory Council elections closed on 31 October 2009 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. The Board needs to confirm the winners of the elections. The winners will be announced on 5 November 2009.
A. ARIN Board of Trustees Election Results.
On 31 October 2009 the following persons were elected to the ARIN Board of Trustees for a three-year term commencing 1 January 2010:
- Paul Andersen
- Scott Bradner
On October 31, 2009 the following person was elected to the ARIN Board of Trustees for a one-year term commencing 1 January 2010, to fill the remainder of the vacancy left by former Trustee’s resignation (B. Manning):
- Lee Howard
The count of the ballots was confirmed independently by: Trustee, Tim Denton; the President: and, General Counsel.
It was moved by John Curran and seconded by Bill Woodcock that:
“The ARIN Board of Trustees confirms the results of the ARIN Board of Trustees election conducted in October 2009.”
The Chair called for discussion. There was no discussion.
The motion carried unanimously via roll call.
B. ARIN Advisory Council Election Results.
On 31 October 2009 the following persons were elected to the ARIN Advisory Council for a three-year term commencing 1 January 2010:
- Stacy Hughes
- Heather Schiller
- Chris Morrow
- Rob Seastrom
- Bill Sandiford
The count of the ballots was confirmed independently by: Trustee, Tim Denton; the President: and, General Counsel.
It was moved by Scott Bradner and seconded by Lee Howard that:
“The ARIN Board of Trustees confirms the results of the ARIN Advisory Council election conducted in October 2009.”
The Chair called for discussion. There was no discussion.
The motion carried unanimously via roll call.
4. Any Other Business
The Chair called for any other business. There was no other business.
5. Adjournment
The Chair entertained a motion to adjourn at 6:39 p.m. EST. It was moved by John Curran and seconded by Tim Denton to adjourn. The motion carried unanimously.
