New ARIN Education Multimedia Deploying IPv6

Community education is important to us - it’s the reason Team ARIN exists! We’re always looking for new ways to help our community understand the issues related to Internet number resource management, and perhaps more importantly, we try to give our community ways to help THEIR communities understand why all this stuff is important. To that end, we have something new for you, a Flash:based presentation on Deploying IPv6.

Because IPv4 and IPv6 will coexist for the foreseeable future, companies will need to maintain business continuity for all IPv4 and IPv6 customers after IPv4 depletion. This presentation highlights the critical factors that service and content providers, software developers, equipment vendors, and governments need to consider as they deploy IPv6. We encourage you to use the downloadable version in conjunction with the IPv4 Depletion and IPv6 Adoption Community Use Slide Deck if you need to explain to your organization why it’s time to adopt IPv6.

We hope you enjoy it, and if you have suggestions for other educational materials, please send them to
