The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) has extended its call for volunteers to serve on the ARIN’s Services Working Group (Services WG) to Sunday, 28 February 2016.

The Services WG has been created to assist with the consideration of proposed changes to ARIN’s services. This standing committee is tasked with facilitating discussion with the community and developing recommendations in a timely fashion. The Charter of the ARIN Services WG is available at:

ARIN is seeking volunteers from the ARIN community who regularly use ARIN services to be a part of the Services WG. Volunteers must be able to attend a minimum of one conference call per month and participate in mailing list discussions.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please send an email with the subject line “Services WG Volunteer” to info@arin.net by Sunday, 28 February. Please be sure to include your first and last name, organization name, and contact information.

The ARIN Board of Trustees will appoint the Services WG members from the list of volunteers. This working group must have a minimum of five members, and no more than two members may be from the ARIN Advisory Council.

The Board of Trustees has appointed Board Members Paul Andersen and Aaron Hughes to this working group, with Aaron Hughes as the Services WG Chair.
