The ARIN Board of Trustees adopted Bylaws changes at its meeting on 24 August 2012.

The changes include establishing the voter eligibility cutoff to be sixty days before a ballot or election, thus removing the constraint that only Members of record on 1 January could vote in elections held in that calendar year. Effective with the 2012 elections, this means that any new ARIN Members will be able to vote in Board of Trustees and Advisory Council Elections held that calendar year as long as they are ARIN Members at the sixty day cutoff and otherwise in good standing at the time of election.
