ARIN is issuing a call for volunteers to serve on the 2012 Nomination Committee (NomCom). We are currently seeking three (3) volunteer General Members in good standing to serve on the Committee. Please note that candidates for this year’s Board of Trustees and Advisory Council elections are not eligible to serve on the NomCom. If you are willing to serve, please submit your name, email address, ARIN member organization name, and ORG ID to info@arin.net no later than 17:00 ET on Thursday, 14 June 2012. All eligible names will be forwarded to the Board and Advisory Council members of this year’s NomCom and they will select three from the list. Note that if selected you must be able to sign and return a Non-Disclosure Agreement within three business days of being notified of your selection.

The Nomination Committee shall be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and certifying a properly selected slate of Trustee and Advisory Council Candidates to be placed in nomination before the membership for election. The responsibilities of the Committee are explained here in the Bylaws. The NomCom consists of two (2) representatives from the Board of Trustees, two (2) representatives from the Advisory Council, and three (3) representatives from ARIN General Members in good standing. You can learn more by reading the 2012 NomCom Charter and the Nomination Committee FAQ.
