Consultation on Publication of Transferred Prefixes Closes 30 September

Posted: Tue, 27 September 2011

ARIN will be closing the ACSP Consultation: Publication of Transferred Prefixes on 30 September at noon EDT. There is still time to share your input regarding on whether ARIN should maintain and publish a list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3 of the NRPM.

The original ACSP Suggestion asked that ARIN maintain and publish a list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3. The list should identify the original prefix (the block originally held by the transferor) and each subdivided prefix (each partial block derived from that original block) transferred under this policy, and should include the date each prefix was transferred.

ARIN would like to feedback regarding the value of providing this informational service to the community as there has been related discussion regarding this topic on mailing lists.  ARIN seeks clear direction through community input.

Please submit your comments regarding this proposed suggestion to arin-consult@arin.net. You can subscribe to this mailing list at: http://lists.arin.net/mailman/listinfo/arin-consult.

Feedback must follow the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process, available at:
