After a comprehensive search process, the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is pleased to announce that Thomas Cady has been named President and CEO.

“ARIN plays a vital role in responsibly managing both IPv4 and IPv6 resources and continuing innovation in the Internet industry, and I am pleased to be joining the organization at such a significant time in Internet history,” said Cady. “I look forward to working with the entire staff, ARIN members, and the Internet community.”

Most recently, Mr. Cady served as President of XO Business Services, a billion dollar broadband service provider with specific focus on the business market. Additionally, he has served as Chief Marketing Officer for XO Communications and Adelphia Communications, President/COO & co-founder of BroadStreet Communications, and President and CEO of two early stage software companies focused on broadband service providers.
