The first quarter 2004 issue of our quarterly newsletter, ARIN Today, has been released. In it you will find:

  • Details on the upcoming ARIN XIII meeting in Vancouver, BC. from April 18-21, 2004. Information in the newsletter includes descriptions of the Sunday Workshops and Policy Proposal BoF, as well as information about the policy proposals under discussion, the 5th Annual ARIN Foosball tournament, and the ARIN Social.

  • Information about the activities of the Number Resource Organization (NRO)

  • A guest article titled “WHOIS: Past and Present,” written by ARIN Advisory Council member Leo Bicknell

  • Meeting reports from RIPE 47, NANOG 30, APNIC 17/APRICOT, ICANN, and IETF 59., In addition, there is a calendar of Internet community meetings that will take place in the 2nd quarter of 2004.

  • An update on the Early Registration Transfer (ERX) Project

  • Details on newly ratified policies
