ARIN XXI Webcast and Remote Participation
Overview
The entire ARIN XXI Public Policy Meeting and ARIN Members Meeting will be webcast. ARIN would like to thank WildBlue Communications for its sponsorship of the network connectivity for the meeting, which helps make the webcast possible.
Remote participation in the ARIN XXI Public Policy and Members Meetings via e-mail is available to all members of the community who cannot attend the meeting in person.
Webcast Information
The broadcast of the Public Policy and Members Meeting begins Monday, 7 April 2008, at 9:00 AM MDT (UTC/GMT -6 hours). Additionally, on Sunday, 6 April 2008, there will be a webcast of the "Understanding ARIN's Legacy Registration Services Agreement " session and the Introduction to IRPEP and Open Policy Hour.
The meeting webcast will be available in a variety of formats:
- Windows Media Webcast (http://winmedia.internet2.edu/arin)
- Quicktime Webcast (http://www.nanog.org/qtstream.mov)
- MPEG4 Webcast (enter ‘rtsp://quicktime.internet2.edu/nanog-qt.sdq in Quicktime or VLC)
- There will also be an audio-only RealMedia feed for the events held Monday-Wednesday (http://www.nanog.org/arin.ram)
Each of the unicast video feeds will be approximately 750Kbps.
Remote Participation Information
In its continuing effort to supply the community with an open forum, ARIN is offering individuals who cannot attend the meeting in person the opportunity to participate remotely. Remote participants may post questions and comments to be addressed in normal question and answer periods throughout the agenda. All times are Mountain Daylight Savings Time (MDT) (UTC/GMT -6 hours).

Register for Remote Participation
To register for remote participation, please go to the ARIN XXI Registration page and select "ARIN XXI Remote Participant" from the drop-down list, then supply your contact details on the registration form.
The method of interactively participating in the meeting will only be available to those who have not registered to attend the meeting in person, and will be open during both the Public Policy and Members Meetings. Comments received from remote participants will be moderated and presented to the meeting during normal question and answer periods. ARIN will use e-mail to provide the interactive portion of the remote participation effort. All remote participants are subject to the Remote Participation Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
