ARIN XX
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Meeting Information
ARIN invites you to join us 17-19 October 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the ARIN XX Public Policy and Members Meeting. The meeting will be held back-to-back with NANOG 41 at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque. The ARIN XX network sponsor, and the host for NANOG 41, is One Connect IP. The ARIN and NANOG back-to-back meetings have proven to be excellent opportunities for involvement in both organizations and we look forward to even greater success and participation this fall.
NANOG and ARIN's back-to-back meetings are a great chance for both communities to benefit from the technical and operational expertise of their colleagues, keep up on all the latest technical issues facing the network operator community, and contribute to Internet number resource policy discussions and development. They are also an excellent opportunity to show your support of the Internet community and these forums through sponsorship.
Sunday Agenda
On Sunday, an optional all-day IPv6 tutorial is being planned for both NANOG and ARIN meeting attendees that will cover several areas of interest related to IPv6. Please note that there are a 'limited' number of rooms available on Saturday night, October 13, due to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta which ends on October 14. Please make your reservation 'early' if you are planning to arrive on Saturday.
Additional information on the ARIN XX agenda will be posted closer to the meeting.
Postel Network Operator's Scholarship
Funded by an anonymous donor, the Postel Network Operator's Scholarship is established to enable one deserving network operator to attend the annual Joint NANOG and ARIN meetings and thus continue to build on the legacy of Jon's lifetime contribution to the Internet. The Internet Society (ISOC) will administer the fund with the recipient selected jointly by the NANOG Steering Committee and the ARIN Board of Trustees. At its 6 January 2007 meeting, the ARIN Board selected Trustee Bill Manning to be its representative in this capacity.
Details about the scholarship, including eligibility and how to apply, are available at: http://www.nanog.org/postel-scholarship.htm
Sponsors
ARIN would like to thank One Connect IP for its generous sponsorship of the network connectivity for ARIN XX.
