The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is seeking proposals for Internet Colocation providers for hosting services for ARIN equipment and applications used in the operation of ARIN's public-facing Internet services. Many of the services provided by ARIN are important parts of the Internet infrastructure. ARIN is looking for sites that are situated on the west coast of the United States or Canada.
The vendor must provide or allow:
- 40 rack units of space for ARIN equipment.
- Access to transit providers of native IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity.
- Access to a peering fabric for peering with other networks.
- Environmental and security infrastructure at their facility.
- 24x7x365 NOC for problem resolution.
All contractual terms and conditions related to the work performed, nondisclosure of information, or liability issues must be detailed. ARIN will require that the vendor performing this service sign a nondisclosure agreement due to the proprietary nature of the information ARIN retains for its subscribers.
Proposals must be submitted before 15 April 2015 for consideration, and must include a statement of work, full pricing details, and references.
We anticipate vendor selection by 15 May with deployment no later than 60 days after the contract is awarded.
