ARIN is pleased to announce a pilot of ARIN's improved Internet Routing Registry (IRR) service. The pilot will support IPv6 objects (route6 and inet6num), allowing you to record your IPv6 routes within ARIN's IRR. This pilot is available over both IPv4 and IPv6 transport.
ARIN’s IRR will also check route authorization against the ARIN network and autonomous system registrations and their organization and resource contacts. We are working on additional authentication methods and plan to eventually integrate the IRR service with ARIN Online.
To utilize this service, send templates to email@example.com. The changes sent to the pilot will be immediately reflected in the WHOIS service located at rr-pilot.arin.net. These changes will be reflected in the production service when it is made available.
