2007 ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council Election Results

Bill Manning and Paul Vixie have been re-elected to the ARIN Board of Trustees. Each will serve a three-year term commencing 1 January 2008. The ARIN Board of Trustees congratulates Bill and Paul and looks forward to continuing its work with them.
The Board wishes to thank Elise Gerich, Edward Lewis, Danny McPherson, Chris Ranch, and Cal Thixton for their participation as candidates in the election, and encourages their continued participation in the ARIN community.
ARIN would also like to congratulate the following individuals on their election to the ARIN Advisory Council: Paul Andersen, Cathy Aronson, Marla Azinger, Owen DeLong, and Scott Leibrand. Each will serve a three-year term beginning 1 January 2008.
The ARIN Board of Trustees wishes to thank John Cavallaro, David Divins, Tine Hutchison, Mark McFadden, David Williamson, and Ed Winstead for their participation as candidates in the election and looks forward to their continued involvement in ARIN's activities.

Nomination Process
In accordance with the ARIN Bylaws:
- A call for ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council nominations went out to ARIN members via the arin-announce@arin.net mailing list and ARIN's website.
- Nominations closed at the specified date and time.
- All eligible nominations for the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council were put forth to the general membership.
- Candidate biographies were posted to the ARIN website.
- Each candidate was given an opportunity to address the ARIN membership at the ARIN XX Members Meeting in Albuquerque on 19 October 2007.
Election Process
In accordance with the ARIN Bylaws:
- Online voting for General Members in good standing began 19 October 2007, at 12:00 PM ET.
- Voting closed one week later on 26 October 2007, at 12:00 PM ET.
- All online votes were required to be confirmed.
- The votes were tallied by ARIN President Raymond Plzak, ARIN Secretary Scott Bradner, and ARIN Counsel Stephen Ryan.
- The results are provided below. The election process and results have been verified according to the requirements in the ARIN Bylaws.
