Thank you for your suggestion, numbered 2013.16 upon confirmation, that ARIN allow multiple "network" objects to be associated to a single "customer" object in the Whois-RWS database. Our Chief Engineer wrote about this suggestion topic on the arin-tech-discuss list on 4/30/13 saying:

"When we redesigned our systems to accommodate Reg-RWS we did take into account the ability to have multiple assignments for a customer. While some work is still required on our end to allow this capability, it is not onerous."

Accordingly, I believe your suggestion is a valid one for ARIN to strongly consider for a future release. As such we will evaluate the effort required and schedule it appropriately with other existing priorities. Once scheduled, we will add it to ARIN's Planned Functionality webpage and inform you of its assigned priority.

As part of the ARIN 32 ACSP Consultation: Open Suggestion Review and Project Prioritization Survey, we're providing feedback and estimates on the predicted work involved. For this suggestion, the following is noted:

This would require work for regcore, templates, and possibly Whois. Estimated staff effort to implement: Two person months for regcore and two additional man months if templates are needed, plus communication efforts.

For information about the consultation and how to participate in the survey, please see the 26 September 2013 announcement.
