ARIN XXX is just two weeks away, but there is still time to register to attend the Public Policy and Members Meeting in Dallas, Texas 24-26 October, immediately following the North American Network Operator’s Group (NANOG) fall meeting from 21-24 October.

The meeting will be full of timely discussions and informative presentations. Check out the agenda for all the details.

NANOG and ARIN will share ajoint session on Wednesday morning that will feature an exciting and informative panel about Internet Governance and the upcoming World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT).

People from all over the ARIN region will be in Dallas or tuning in remotely to voice their opinions during the draft policy discussions, and we look forward to hearing from you. To attend or participate remotely, register now by going to “Register for ARIN XXX” at https://www.arin.net/app/meeting/registration/ , and choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

Also, we encourage you to sign up to present your ideas at the Open Policy Hour (OPH) on Thursday afternoon for feedback on new ideas and suggestions for policies. If you wish to present, simply send an email to policy@arin.net with your name, organization, and a general description of the policy subject you wish to present. Registered remote participants can also present policy ideas during the OPH !

If you are joining us in Dallas and you haven’t made your reservations yet, please do so today. The room block at the meeting venue has been sold out, and the special rate of $163 (USD + 15% room tax) at the overflow hotel, Dallas Marriott Suites, expires on 12 October. Note that everyone who registers by 10 October, remote or in-person, will be added to list of eligible voters in the election for a representative from the ARIN region to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). You can learn more about that election here.
