Based on community input received during the recent Transfer Listing Service Consultation, ARIN has revised the Proposed Transfer Listing Service and is seeking further community input on the Specified Transfer Listing Service (STLS). This will provide a mechanism by which validated organizations may determine potentially complementary parties suitable to participate in a transfer of IPv4 number resources per ARIN’s Number Resource Policy Manual, section 8.3, “Transfers to Specified Recipients”

The proposed Specified Transfer Listing Service is located at www.arin.net/resources/transfer_listing.html. It is ARIN’s intent to make the Specified Transfer Listing Service available prior to ARIN’s October 2010 Public Policy and Members meeting and it shall continue to operate indefinitely as long as adequate demand exists for the service. ARIN reserves the unilateral right to modify or discontinue the service with appropriate advanced notice to participating parties.

Comments regarding this proposed Specified Transfer Listing Service can be submitted through the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process, available at: https://www.arin.net/participate/acsp/index.html

Discussion on arin-consult@arin.net will close on 7 July 2010, at noon EDT. You can subscribe to the arin-consult mailing list at http://lists.arin.net/mailman/listinfo/arin-consult.

ARIN welcomes community-wide participation. Please address any process questions to info@arin.net.
