2005 ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council Election Results

Lee Howard and Bill Woodcock have been elected to the ARIN Board of Trustees. Each will serve a three-year term commencing January 1, 2006. The ARIN Board of Trustees congratulates Lee and Bill and looks forward to working with them.
The Board wishes to thank Vijay Gill and Doug Humphrey for their participation as candidates in the election, and encourages their continued participation in the ARIN community.
ARIN would also like to congratulate the following individuals on their election to the ARIN Advisory Council: Dan Alexander, Bill Darte, Alec Peterson, Matt Pounsett, and Suzanne Woolf. Each will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2006.
The ARIN Board of Trustees wishes to thank James Deleskie, Owen DeLong, Andrew Dul, Teresa Gurney, Allie Settlemyre, and John Sweeting for their participation as candidates in the election and looks forward to their continued involvement in ARIN's activities.

Nomination Process
In accordance with the ARIN Bylaws:
- A call for ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council nominations went out to ARIN members via the arin-announce@arin.net mailing list and ARIN's website.
- Nominations closed at the specified date and time.
- All eligible nominations for the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council were put forth to the general membership.
- Candidate biographies were posted to the ARIN website.
- Each candidate was given an opportunity to address the ARIN membership at the ARIN XVI Members Meeting in Los Angeles on October 28, 2005.
Election Process
In accordance with the ARIN Bylaws:
- Online voting for General Members in good standing began October 28, 2005, at 12:00 PM ET.
- Voting closed one week later on November 4, 2005, at 12:00 PM ET.
- All online votes were required to be confirmed.
- The votes were tallied by ARIN President Raymond A. Plzak, ARIN Secretary Scott Bradner, and ARIN Counsel Steve Ryan.
- The results are provided below. The election process and results have been verified according to the requirements in the ARIN Bylaws.
